Selling Products Online

bear grylls survival knife

Well, roughly two months in to my new online shopping venture and I’m discovering just how much I underestimated everything! How much it costs to offer a reasonable range of products, how many rules and regulations there are to sell knives in Australia, how much work it would take to get an ecommerce site up and going, how many distractions there are along the way, and how much there is to know about knives! My site is operational, but it still needs some tinkering and I only have a product range of just FIVE! So I need to multiply that number by about 100 and sort out the niggling bugs before I move into the next phase, which is actually selling products! [Read more...]

For years now I have been going to start an online store but have kept putting it off and putting off, until today when I finally took my first few concrete steps! Ten Awesome Management Quotes

list of management quotes

I’m no longer managing other people personally, but managing yourself can still be challenging. I’m so easily distracted and I don’t stick to my own deadlines to complete tasks, so I’m probably better at managing other people than I am at managing myself! I’m not complaining though as I really do enjoy being my own boss and my only employee to look after and manage. [Read more...]

Customers were quickly offended by the stunt or mistake by the giant retailer and made it viral on social media. The politically correct police were quickly on top of the situation and forced Walmart to take it down and make an apology. As a small business, would you risk doing something like this? If you asked most people on the street which giant e-commerce company has the most transactions per year between, Amazon, eBay and Alibaba, most would say either eBay or Amazon. What is Bitcoin?

what is bitcoin?

Both small and large retailers are now starting to accept the digital currency called bitcoin, so what is bitcoin and how does it work? Well bitcoin was started just a few short years ago in 2008 by the mysterious Satoshi Nakamoto who created the Bitcoin Core software and helped to set up the virtual network required to use and mine bitcoins. It is a peer-to-peer payment system with no central power structure or administrator lording over the minions in a central bank fashion. [Read more...]

One of the larger and more popular categories on the Wholesalers Network website is the clothing and fashion category. I’m currently going through it to delete companies that have closed down and to add new wholesalers that haven’t been listed. If you’re not already listed in the Wholesale Clothes section or you use a great clothing wholesaler that isn’t listed, let us know about it. [Read more...]

They’ll remain on my work desk and be reviewed daily or weekly, depending on the goal. [Read more...]

AliExpress Complaints

aliexpress review

I’m in two minds about AliExpress: I like it because you can connect with suppliers to buy cheap products in small amounts but I dislike it because they just don’t have the dispute system worked out properly. Dealing with a wide range of manufacturers and suppliers in China can be a nightmare! I have used them quite a few times now and most suppliers I have bought from have been honest and fair but I have also dealt with thieves. [Read more...]
